Gran Turismo 5-Ferrari 458 Italia: Heavy Damage So I wasn't able to get video of the actual crash because I cant use a controller with one hand while holding a camera. I spent about an hour standing in front of the screen and managed to get pretty decent at the game….im sure I could do better without people walking by behind me while I was standing. The sounds are much better than in pretty much any other game and are actually right up there with FM3 for the quality. You cant tell this much from the video but each individual panel on the car has its own individual physics while hanging from the car. If you watch closely you can see the rear bumper move when I start moving. And during another race I noticed the rear view mirror was hanging off of the car after a small crash and it was swinging around as I went around corners. The overall feal of the game is vastly improved compared to GT5P and the TT Demo, the graphics look unbelievably good even for a modern game. I went to play this in the hopes that it would help to give me my GT5 fix until the full release but all its done is make the wait seem even harder. I only wish they would release this demo to the public so I could finally give it a shot with my logitech G25. And for some reason blaring the horn(yes the horn works in the demo) while flying past the other cars on track is unusually amusing to me. I'm going back tomorrow so I might be able to get some better shots. Oh and just a quick thing, the reason we haven't see decent damage in any replays is because damage doesn't show up at all during the replay, I have a video of the crash that caused this but it just looks ridiculous without the damage. I was expecting maybe a few loose body panels and some scrapes, but this is just unbelievable. Not all of the cars in the demo had damage of this level, but the damage was still fantastic on everything other than the GT by Citroen witch appeared to be only scrapes and small dents. You may notice that you cannot see the damage from the interior view of the car, this is probably for the best unless you dot mind not being able to see anything. The AI cars also suffer damage just as bad as this, but I have no video of that because I cant keep up with them while driving with one hand.This Demo is at the Best Buy in Glen Burnie Maryland so if anyone is near by you should check it out.
